The revolution of broadcast industry

In this age of technology, numerous innovations have made a lot of tasks at hand easier. It can be said that there has been some sort of a digital revolution in the past decade. While we are always busy scrolling or swiping through our smartphones, liking, commenting or maybe live streaming a mega event, if you have ever wondered how this network of infinite possibilities work then this is the right place for you.

When TV channels were introduced, it was only possible due to uplinking through satellites. In India, after the privatization of broadcast services, many private channels operated through their own ground station or used the government’s satellite services. However, this was a really expensive procedure and government recognition took a lot of time. The digital services these days are far from the complexities of yesterday, not only there many private satellite teleport services in India but many broadcast bigwigs have their own satellites. Satellite uplink downlink services have been made more accessible due to the presence of independent providers in the industry. This progress accelerated after the digital boom post 2005 and starting your own broadcast channel is not such a distant dream anymore.  The internet has made it possible for people to run their businesses solely on digital platform. A channel does not have to be “TV” channel anymore; it can be an “internet” channel or a platform only for streaming services.

Of course, internet has given us things that we thought were never possible, but a vast amount of work goes behind the scenes in up linking satellites and drafting a framework for networking solutions. These solutions make sure that all the broadcast services made available to us run smoothly and in case of any problems, a quick resolution is provided by the technology experts. Many services are not only for networking but also provide hardware, equipment and technology solutions to channels for telecommunication.

The networking industry in India certainly doesn’t lack the vision or technology needed for satellite teleport services, and with our own satellites in space, things look good for the future generations of this digital revolution.
